Wait, Are We Talking About 'Murder'?!

Ex-professor pleads guilty to killing wife
Rafael Robb, once a tenured economics professor at the University of Pennsylvania, faces a likely prison sentence of 4 1/2 to seven years for bludgeoning his wife, Ellen, on Dec. 22.
4½ years for Murder?! Good thing it wasn't a hate crime.

She just couldn't put 2 and 2 together (get it--economics/math joke?)!Hehe
He is a tenured caucasion male: There won't be any trying on of gloves here!
On a side note---I know a local economics professor and he is one weird bird. He is in his 60's, but invites the young co-eds to pajama parties at his house while his wife secludes herself in another room!? Weird shit!He is also one of the most condescending/misogynistic prigs I know!

i suspect the 'tenured' part is the clencher. working at a college, i am quite aware that professors are some of the biggest @$$holes for same reasons you stated.

Why on earth would that guy's wife put up with that crap? why do the co-eds go along with it? society is pretty f'd up.

His wife has very low self-esteem and is a fat cowish and accustomed to bi-yearly cruises. I don't think I could trade dignity for a cruise. Co-eds will do anything for an "A" I suppose. I couldn't stand to listen to his pompous ass for more than 5 minutes.I would go for a slice of pizza and then hit the road if I were them!

you always hear about that thing going on, but it just sickens me to know of actual cases. Some day karma will catch up to these people, that's the only hope that keeps me going through life.
