still got the blues.

I snagged 17 Robert Cray albums over the weekend. Why? Because I wanted something new and I was feeling in a 'bluesy' mood. Even though it's been a very mild winter, I'm the kind of person that ought to go into hibernation in late fall and wake up in spring.
I'd write more but I think i want to take a nap instead.

People with children do not go into hibernation.

I'm just saying.

(With that "I'm just saying" line, I'm starting to write like Stallion... I don' think that's a good thing either)

Assie, re Robert Cray: i still take requests.
and not all of California is like sunny southern California. Up here in the great wet north, you can count on 40º and .25" of rain every day from November to April.

apache, i hate mosquitoes with a passion. mosquitoes are the only reason bats should be allowed to exist. as wet as it is up here, springtime is terrible for mosquitoes.
I've only experienced summer in dixie one time and it was indeed freakin miserable. Summers here are around 70º so it's quite nice.

i'm ok with most reptiles, except snakes. all bugs and snakes meet a certain death when they cross my path.
I don't hate rodents but they do disgust me. Bats are winged mice (pigeons are winged rats).
I have an interesting story about how I pissed off some bats for another time.
