Yup, I teared up. Good story.
I watched this with my fiance and we both got a bit teary. Then I got sad that good sportsmanship is newsworthy. What a terrible world we live in.
i absolutely concur. this is my 8th and last year as a little league coach. I've tried to incorporate life lessons, skills, disciplines, into the game to help the kids be better people (1st), better baseball players (2nd), ... winning is way down the list of priorities. Sadly, we're not a very competitive team.
