the burn
First softball game of the season last night. I tagged up from 2nd base on a deep sacrifice fly and coming into home plate the catcher fakes like he's taking a throw.
I do a quick drop to slide in. Focker!

Alas, my softball career is over, due to a bum ankle (errant slide into third) and a rotator cuff (eh, just blew out the arm. I didn't have much arm anyway). Fortunately, these were my doing, and not that of some smartass hyper-competitive Big Show reject trying injure someone. What a tool! It's frickin' softball!
i guess that's partly why i'm so sensitive to this kind of behaviour. i'm nearly blind in one eye, had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago, have to wear wraps on both knees, and blew out my plantar-fascia tendon last year. (and frankly, i was never that good to begin with) My days are NUMBERED! I do not any help ending my playing days from some asshat trying to be cute.
